Information for Owners of Personal Mobility Devices
We inform citizens who own vehicles that were classified as personal mobility devices before September 1, 2025, that the simplified procedure for assessing the aforementioned vehicles in accordance with Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 295 of August 4, 2025, is carried out until September 1, 2026.
To conduct an on-site assessment of vehicle compliance in the regional centers of the Vitebsk region, the vehicle owner must:
1. Contact the regional traffic police department for preliminary registration or call RUP "Vitebsk CSMS" at 8 (0212) 48-04-06
2. Coordinate the date and place of the assessment with the specialists of RUP "Vitebsk CSMS"
3. During the assessment, the vehicle owner must have an identity document (passport or copy of passport) and documents for the device containing its technical characteristics to fill out an application and conclude an agreement.
4. After concluding the agreement, an inspection and measurement of the maximum design speed will be carried out.
5. Based on the results of the vehicle compliance assessment, an act on determining compliance with vehicle types is drawn up.
