An Engaging Conversation – A meeting between students, teachers, and District Prosecutor Andrey Starchenko was held at the L.M. Dovator Ullsky State Professional Lyceum of Agricultural Production
The District Prosecutor's Office regularly holds meetings with young students. The purpose of these events is quite simple – to prevent juvenile delinquency.
It is no secret that any crime or offense is easier to prevent than to eliminate its consequences. It should be noted that sometimes children commit thoughtless acts, the realization of which comes from the moment a criminal case is initiated or an administrative process begins.
Thus, another meeting with District Prosecutor Andrey Starchenko was held at the L.M. Dovator Ullsky State Professional Lyceum of Agricultural Production.
During the meeting, the District Prosecutor addressed issues of crime and offense prevention, adolescent behavior on the Internet, and threats lurking in the field of high technologies. Crimes in the field of high technologies, given the development of technical means, are becoming increasingly relevant, and in this regard, cases where children are victims are not uncommon. The District Prosecutor supported his speech with "real-life" examples from the practice of bringing people to justice.
Separately, during the meeting with the District Prosecutor, issues of holding a national referendum in our country on amending and supplementing the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, affecting all spheres of our society's life, were discussed.
For reference: national and local referendums are held to resolve the most important issues of state and public life. All citizens eligible to vote participate in referendums. Referendums are held by universal, free, equal, and secret ballot.
For this reason, it is more important than ever to show your civic responsibility by participating in the resolution of crucial issues.
Separately, the prosecutor's representative spoke with the teaching staff of the educational institution, addressing the issues mentioned above.
The students thanked the prosecutor's office employee for the interesting and informative meeting. Such events will continue.
