International Economic Forum “Innovations. Investments. Prospects”

From December 2–3, 2021, the Vitebsk region will host the IX International Economic Forum “Innovations. Investments. Prospects.” The Forum venue is the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee (Vitebsk, Gogol St., 6).

The main ideas of the IX Forum, themed “Digital Economy – Driver of Innovative Regional Development,” include the use of new digital technologies and the formation of infrastructure and legal environment for the digital economy.

For reference: In 2019, the VIII Forum in Vitebsk, with the defining theme “Import Substitution,” resulted in the signing of 17 international cooperation agreements. 22 foreign countries and 85 international delegations participated.

Participants of the IX Forum in Vitebsk, both offline and online, will be invited to present their regions and companies, discuss pressing issues, and exchange views within the framework of panel discussions on “Smart Region,” “Innovations and Industry,” and “Green Economy and Agro-Industrial Complex.” They will also have the opportunity to explore exhibition displays such as “Innovative Equipment and Technologies in the Agro-Industrial Complex,” “Clusters – Drivers of Regional Development” in light industry, petrochemical and pharmaceutical-medical clusters, woodworking and construction industries, machine tool manufacturing, and others.

The Forum Program includes: 

– online video conferences; 

– panel discussions on current cooperation issues; 

– operation of a virtual exhibition on an internet platform; 

– video conferencing communication between visitors and exhibitors of the “Virtual Exhibition”; 

– the online program will run in parallel with the in-person one: exhibitions, conferences, b2b negotiations.
