How Children Will Spend Their Summer in Beshenkovichi District in 2026

The summer health improvement campaign of 2026 in Beshenkovichi District promises to be a vibrant and eventful stage in the lives of the younger generation of the Dvina region. According to Victoria Krestovskaya, methodologist of the State Institution "Beshenkovichi District Educational and Methodological Cabinet," 632 young residents of our district are planned to be covered by organized forms of recreation and health improvement this season.

Preparations for the main children's "vacation" lasting three months began long before the summer holidays, as the priority tasks remain ensuring comprehensive safety, strengthening health, and creating conditions for meaningful leisure activities for children.

The most large-scale direction will traditionally be educational and health improvement camps with day stays, which will open their doors at six educational institutions in the district. During the 15-day sessions, 330 boys and girls will rest here. This format allows children to improve their health in a familiar environment close to home, receiving quality balanced nutrition and participating in engaging activities under the supervision of experienced educators. The "Lider" health resort camp, located in the picturesque agro-town of Ostrovno, will become a real center of attraction for active recreation: this season, 240 children are eagerly awaited here.

Special attention in 2026 will be paid to labor education and socialization of high school students. For 42 teenagers, it is planned to organize four labor and recreation camps with day stays lasting 15 days. Labor detachments will operate on the basis of educational institutions named after renowned heroes and fellow countrymen: Secondary School No. 1 of Beshenkovichi named after I. I. Storchko, Secondary School No. 2 of Beshenkovichi named after
M. N. Tkachenko, Ostroven Secondary School named after K. A. Abazovsky, and Boceikovichi Secondary School named after M. A. Vysogorets. Ostroven schoolchildren, for example, will work on improving farms and the grain drying area of SUP "Vyaderevo," Boceikovichi schoolchildren will work on the school grounds, and students of the first school of the district center will contribute to the improvement of the school territory and furniture repair, while all will receive their first wages.

For the bravest and most curious, a 9-day mobile tent camp will be organized on the basis of Rzhavskaya Basic School named after Mirza Gelovani. A group of 20 children will not only be able to relax in the fresh air but also immerse themselves in the romance of camp life, master tourism skills, and study the historical routes of the district.

Behind the dry statistics lies extensive interdepartmental work on inspecting food blocks, playgrounds, and selecting qualified personnel. The main goal of all activities is to make the summer of 2026 safe, beneficial, and unforgettable for every child.
