How Vladimir Yatsuk Helps His Compatriots Become Happier

"Real magic of kindness and mutual assistance happens in our small social rehabilitation department," shares the head of the department, Alesya Tsepoto. "It's all thanks to a person of special willpower. And that's exactly what Vladimir Yatsuk from Beshenkovichi is. Having had a disability since childhood, he finds the strength to support those who find themselves in similar life situations. His example is proof that the desire to help knows no barriers."

Vladimir is among the most active visitors of the social rehabilitation and habilitation department for persons with disabilities of the TSON. This has become an important stage in gaining confidence and new skills. After all, the goal of rehabilitation is not just to adapt to conditions, but to create equal opportunities for a full life. Moreover, TSON specialists teach their wards not only to take, but also to give. Understanding this became the starting point for Volodya's volunteer activities.

Our compatriot is a participant in the social project "Neighborly Care," within the framework of which he provides childcare assistance to a family raising a child with a disability. He readily responds, sharing his experience, providing moral support, and simply being there. His empathy, sociability, and zest for life help other center visitors find joy in life, feel needed and in demand.

“Visiting the center brings me immense satisfaction,” says Vladimir. “I attend club activities, I am a frequent guest at various events held by the center, they are always very interesting and fun. You will never be alone here. We communicate with each other, share life stories. But what is most pleasant is to bring joy as a participant of the ‘Social Animator’ club. To see joy in the eyes of children and adults. And this help to other people makes me happy.”

Vladimir’s story is a vivid example of strength of spirit, optimism, and kindness. Proof that every person, regardless of circumstances or any physical limitations, can make an invaluable contribution to society and change someone’s life for the better.
