What contests are being organized in the Beshenkovichi district on the eve of the New Year

From December 15, a competition for the best New Year's decoration of institutions and organizations in the Beshenkovichi district will be launched. The competition is organized by the district executive committee and the district organization of the Belarusian Public Association "Belaya Rus".

To participate in the competition, institutions and organizations must take a comprehensive approach, including the decoration of the entrance group, stained-glass windows, window openings, facade, adjacent territory, installation of festive illumination (light installations, backlighting), etc.

Three nominations have been defined: "Best New Year's Decoration of an Organization (Enterprise, Institution) and Adjacent Territory", "Best New Year's Decoration of a Private Household", and "Best New Year's Decoration of a Rural Settlement".

By December 15, competition participants must submit photo or video materials of their decorated objects to the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs via email: besh_ideol@beshenkovichi.gov.by.

Competition winners will receive diplomas and gifts.

Another competition you can participate in is for the best outdoor New Year's figure, "New Year's Cartoon Figures".

Participants must create a decorative doll using improvised materials and install it by 3:00 PM on December 18 in the central square of Beshenkovichi.

Conditions: the doll must be at least 1.5 meters tall, have a stable base, a plaque indicating the doll's name and the name of the institution, and the materials used to make it must not change their properties or appearance under various weather conditions.

The winners will be awarded on December 19 during the opening of the main Christmas tree in Beshenkovichi.

The traditional competition for the best New Year's transport will also be memorable. A festive procession of decorated vehicles (any type: cars, motorcycles, horse-drawn, sports, and others) will proceed from the parking lot opposite the bus station to the Beshenkovichi Children's School.

It is planned that more than 20 enterprises, organizations, and institutions of the district will take part in the competition.
