"Every field visit is a responsibility": how sowing is carried out in the Beshenkovichi district
Spring is the time for sowing. For the agrarians of Beshenkovichi, this is the most responsible period, because what you sow, you shall reap. Every field visit is an important task and responsibility. Last week, we visited the workers of ASB-Agro Novator CJSC.
The agricultural enterprise is actively engaged in corn sowing. As the chief agronomist of the farm, Yuri Gaidukov, said, 450 hectares of the "queen of fields" have been sown for grain, or 110% of the target. 1000 hectares are planned for silage. 690 hectares have been sown, or 69%. This scope of work is entrusted to Oleg Nikolaevich Kuzmin and Vladimir Vladimirovich Radkevich. They have plenty of experience. "We have a very important task ahead of us – to quality sow seeds into the soil," say both. "The weather makes its own adjustments, so every minute counts for us."
As soon as favorable days set in, the machine operators on their "MTZ-1221" with "STV-8" continue sowing. Alexander Arkadyevich Spiridenok is involved in seed delivery. After corn, the workers will direct all their efforts to sowing annual grasses for green fodder. They have 400 hectares planned for this, and 60 hectares have already been sown. This type of work is entrusted to Vladimir Nikolaevich Zhigunov on an "MTZ-3522" with a "Pronto".
The villagers work together harmoniously, each with their own important duties. In parallel with sowing, the Novator workers are diligently fighting weeds. Alexey Fedorovich Rusanets is engaged in chemical weeding on an "MTZ-82" with an "OP-2500". Vasily Alexandrovich Presnyakov works on a "Rosa". Andrey Anatolyevich Kachan and Valery Vladimirovich Kovalevsky are delivering water, both on "MTZ-1221" with "MZHT-10".
The "queen of fields" is in the reliable hands of Vladimir Radkevich.
The sowing campaign is proceeding according to plan thanks to the pre-prepared equipment and the professionalism of the workers.
We can only hope that the weather will favor the workers, help the plants to take root well and yield a rich harvest.
