Комплексные учения проходят в Бешенковичах

It might seem that humanity has managed to control everything around, but this is only an illusion. Every day we hear about emergencies that are impossible to predict: accidents, landslides, destructions, road traffic incidents – the list goes on. And if we cannot influence the occurrence of most of these "gifts," then we can minimize their consequences.

It is precisely for the purpose of checking the readiness of the forces and means of the Beshenkovichi district unit of the territorial subsystem of the State Civil Protection System for the protection of the district's territory in the event of emergencies of various kinds that a three-day comprehensive exercise is being held in the district starting today. During this time, a series of practical and theoretical drills are planned at various facilities in our region.

In the first half of the day, theoretical tasks were practiced, which considered issues of the district's readiness to eliminate various types of emergencies, and the ability to ensure safe living conditions for the population in case of emergencies and in everyday activities.

In the afternoon, practical training on actions during emergencies was conducted.

According to one of the scenarios, a forest fire occurred in the area of Sokorovo village, which could not be contained within the initial boundaries due to increased wind and continued to spread. Numerous power line breaks and pole collapses occurred due to falling trees on power lines passing through forest areas, disrupting the power supply. Emergency repair crews of Beshenkovichi Electric Networks cannot commence restoration work due to the spreading forest fire. Movement on public roads is hindered. There are injured and missing citizens.

According to scenario No. 2, near the village of Khmelnik, due to the careless handling of fire by an unidentified person, a threat of fire spreading to the forest area has arisen.

According to the third tactical plan, due to unfavorable weather conditions, the milk-producing farms located in the village of Komoski, which are classified as facilities whose disconnection from the power supply

is unacceptable in the long term.

During this period, information was received from employees of UZ "Beshenkovichi Central District Hospital" that a resident from the village of Komoski had sought medical attention at the healthcare facility with symptoms of the highly dangerous infection "Anthrax".

District services promptly inform the public about the ongoing measures through local mass media, as well as internet resources and messengers.

A situational headquarters for emergency management is working to address the set tasks, involving employees and rescue and special equipment from enterprises and organizations of the district.
