Constructive dialogue on security issues. Beshenkovichi district

Today, the Beshenkovichi District was visited by Sergey Nikolaevich Markevich, Deputy Head of the Vitebsk Regional Emergency Management Department. During his visit, he held a meeting with employees of the Beshenkovichi Branch of the Vitebsk Regional Rehabilitation Center. Not only adults, but also children are aware of the potential consequences of fire. Fire safety issues are relevant today for residents of large cities and rural populations alike. For the latter, even more so. No one will deny that stove heating, prevalent in rural homes, is an increased source of fire hazard. And if the stove is old, heated without supervision, plus worn-out wiring and old electrical appliances are present, then disaster is just around the corner.

Analysis of fires shows that most of them occur during the heating season: due to stove overheating, cracks in chimneys, and lack of a hearth mat. Another cause of fires is careless handling of fire. This wording often hides smoking in bed, especially while intoxicated.

Sergey Nikolaevich focused on these and other points during his speech. This form of prevention, such as meetings with work collectives, makes sense. It is not only about conveying necessary information to people, but also about training and a live conversation, during which

pressing issues on the fundamentals of life safety are being resolved.
