Where to go to study?

Currently, the education system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus is represented by two higher education institutions: the "Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs" in Minsk and the "Mogilev Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs" in Mogilev. From this year, a unified competition is held for admission to higher education institutions by an inter-university admissions committee. This provides an advantage (if an applicant does not get admitted to one of the educational institutions based on scores, but has another educational institution indicated as the next priority in their application). If admission to one educational institution is not successful, they are admitted to another. It should be noted that cadets in educational institutions study on a state-funded basis and are fully provided for by the state. This includes highly qualified medical care, free accommodation, meals, and provision of uniforms, in addition to a high stipend. Upon completion of studies (4-year duration), graduates are awarded a state-recognized diploma with the qualification "Lawyer" and the specialty "Jurisprudence".

Applicants participating in the competition for higher education undergo three entrance examinations in the form of two centralized exams and one centralized testing (CT): Belarusian or Russian language (at the applicant's choice), social studies, and a foreign language (at the applicant's choice).

Citizens of Belarus aged 17 and over can enroll in full-time study at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. By enrolling in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, young people receive free, high-quality legal education, full state provision during their studies, and guaranteed employment in their specialty. Police officers are offered decent remuneration in the future, opportunities for professional growth, and social guarantees for managerial staff.
