Where to go to study?

Currently, the education system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus is represented by two higher education institutions: the "Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs" in Minsk and the "Mogilev Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs" in Mogilev. Since 2023, a unified competition has been held for admission to higher education institutions by an inter-university admissions committee. This provides an advantage (if an applicant does not qualify for admission to one educational institution based on scores, another educational institution is indicated as the next priority in their application). And if they do not get admitted to one educational institution, they are admitted to another. It should be noted that cadets in educational institutions study on a state-funded basis and are fully state-provided. This includes highly qualified medical care, free accommodation, meals, and provision of uniforms, as well as a high stipend.
Upon graduation (the duration of study is 4 years), university graduates receive a state-recognized diploma with the qualification "Lawyer" and the specialty "Jurisprudence".
Applicants participating in the competition for higher education undergo three entrance examinations in the form of two centralized examinations and one centralized testing (CT): Belarusian or Russian language (at the applicant's choice), social studies, and a foreign language (at the applicant's choice).
Citizens of Belarus aged 17 and over can apply for full-time study at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. By enrolling in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, young people acquire free, high-quality legal education, full state provision during their studies, and guaranteed employment in their specialty. Police officers have decent remuneration.
