The visit of the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Sergeenko, to Braslav region began with a visit to the Center for Ensuring the Activities of Budgetary Organizations and State Bodies. During the meeting, the parliamentarian familiarized himself with its work, communicated with employees, and inquired about problematic issues.

The Center ensures the activities of more than 50 organizations, and its work meets the requirements. During the visit, the institution was handed over a "Gazelle" vehicle.

Then, the Speaker of Parliament held a meeting with the staff of the district newspaper "Braslavskaya Zvezda," discussing issues of освещение (coverage) of the life of the region and the country as a whole.

The next item on the working day was the reception of citizens. 10 people approached Igor Sergeenko not only with their problems but also with words of gratitude for resolving personal issues. The questions concerned various spheres of life – land, employment, the use of electricity and gas for heating, and the quality of mobile communication. For example, in one of the villages near the district center, the quality of mobile communication is extremely low. The mobile operator is aware of the situation, but the issue remains unresolved. Igor Sergeenko promised to look into the situation.

- The issue of mobile communication quality is becoming relevant in all districts of our country, as is the use of electricity and gas for heating and cooking, and land issues. I did not see any issues that were not being resolved due to the fault of the district executive committee. Some issues were resolved immediately on-site, while others were taken under control, - said the Chairman of the House of Representatives.

The working trip continued in the Postavy district, where Igor Sergeenko supervised the construction of the district hospital and preparations for the sports and cultural festival "Vytoki".
