Leaders of Belarus and Oman Summarize Official Visit in a Home Setting

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said continued their conversation from the previous day in an informal home setting. The head of the Belarusian state invited his distinguished Omani guest to his home, BelTA reports.

The joint work continued first in a meeting format, and then over a working breakfast.
"This morning I am already welcoming you to my home. Thank you for visiting me. I believe that after your negotiations yesterday, you have had time to make some decisions, perhaps to consider some issues of our cooperation. But you should know that you are a welcome guest in Belarus, including in my home," stated Alexander Lukashenko.
"I am happy to be at your home!" said the Sultan of Oman upon arrival.

"This is our Belarus. Forest, forest, trees," noted the President, speaking about the surrounding nature. "What is lacking in Oman, we have."

"Very beautiful. Yes, you are right," agreed Haitham bin Tariq Al Said.
At the meeting, he once again emphasized that he was truly glad to be in Belarus: "Thank you very much for your hospitality. We are impressed by the beauty of your country and Minsk. And since yesterday, you and I have been talking with our people about many projects that will be mutually beneficial for our countries."
Upon completion of the meeting, Alexander Lukashenko personally escorted Haitham bin Tariq Al Said to the airport.

On the eve of the official negotiations were held by the heads of state at the Palace of Independence, which resulted in a number of documents on the development of bilateral cooperation in various fields. A joint statement of the leaders of the two countries was adopted. Among the signed documents is a roadmap for the development of bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Oman.

"The dialogue between Belarus and Oman is destined to become an example of truly equal, trusting and mutually beneficial cooperation between two friendly countries. All our agreements from the Belarusian side will be strictly observed and fulfilled on time. Because Oman is an extremely interesting country for us. We will reciprocate," Alexander Lukashenko stated during the negotiations.

In turn, the Sultan of Oman expressed his desire to develop trade and economic cooperation with Belarus. He is confident that relations in this area have not yet reached the level they could achieve. "We are trying to work hard to ensure that our relations in this direction are on the rise," said Haitham bin Tariq Al Said.

In Minsk, the Sultan of Oman laid a wreath at the Victory Monument.
