"Dear Comrade Li Xi, I don't need to talk about our policy towards the PRC. I have already said a lot about it. Our position remains unchanged. You can always count on us at the right moment for China. You should know that here, in the center of Europe, you have the most reliable and good friends," the Belarusian leader emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko stated that he views Li Xi's visit as a continuation of the extensive work to intensify cooperation being carried out by the leaders of the two countries. "We have intensified our efforts together with Xi Jinping this year, considering that I have already visited the People's Republic of China twice this year," he noted.

The President separately mentioned the new Chinese initiative on global governance, which PRC Chairman Xi Jinping put forward at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit held in Tianjin. "Unlike other major states, unlike their leaders, the People's Republic of China, in the person of PRC Chairman Xi Jinping, has put forward a number of very useful initiatives for the balance and development of the planet as a whole in recent years. And most recently, at a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Xi Jinping put forward a very correct, timely initiative on global governance," said the Belarusian leader. "We are pleased to support this initiative because it fully aligns with the policy we are pursuing. This global initiative is based on justice and equality. It is a timely initiative, which is why I was the first to support it immediately at the SCO meeting."

The President noted that he is well acquainted with the state political system of China and how such important decisions are made, including regarding the initiative. "I know that you and your colleagues were directly involved in developing such an initiative. You have taken a wonderful and timely step that was liked by everyone present at the meeting. As we used to say, this idea is increasingly capturing the minds of the world," said Alexander Lukashenko.

"As one of the important leaders of the PRC, I am ready to discuss with you any issues of a regional nature, as well as Belarusian-Russian, Belarusian-Ukrainian, Belarusian-Chinese relations within the scope of international relations," said the President.

Alexander Lukashenko also asked to convey his warmest regards to PRC Chairman Xi Jinping.
