President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed the law "On Amendments to Laws on Criminal and Administrative Liability". This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

This legislative act is aimed at strengthening the protection of Belarus's airspace.
  
Administrative liability is established for the illegal import into the territory of Belarus, storage, circulation, operation, or manufacturing of civilian unmanned aerial vehicles.

The law also establishes criminal liability for similar actions committed repeatedly after the imposition of an administrative penalty.

The main provisions of the law come into force 10 days after its official publication.
