"In December of last year, during the Address to the Belarusian People and the National Assembly, I identified, in addition to quality, thriftiness as one of the priority tasks for the five-year period. This is very important for us," Alexander Lukashenko recalled. "Cost reduction, prudent savings, and strict production discipline are continuous and very important processes. We need to be responsible owners of our enterprises, our country, and our lives. And then we will succeed."

The Head of State sincerely thanked the current laureates for their outstanding achievements. "Each of us bears colossal responsibility for the coming year. For the ability to motivate others, compete honestly, share advanced experience and management technologies. After all, it is the leader who others follow, especially the youth," he emphasized.

"The New Year and Christmas holidays are over, we have successfully coped with snowstorms and Epiphany frosts – now is the time for concrete actions to achieve concrete results," the President stated. "May today's ceremony inspire all of us, the workers of Belarus, to new professional achievements. If you are successful, our Belarus will be successful too."
