Belarus's calling card on the global stage is thoroughness and unwavering implementation of agreements reached, as well as the ability to solve large-scale tasks with optimal resources. This was stated by Head of State Alexander Lukashenko in an interview with the Russian magazine "Razvedchik," as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

Speaking generally about Belarus's foreign policy and its competitive advantages, the Head of State noted that since gaining independence, the country has systematically and purposefully built friendly relations with foreign partners. The principle of multi-vector foreign policy is at the core of this process.

However, unfortunately, the West has applied double standards in its relations with Belarus almost from the very beginning, imposing sanctions and restrictions under far-fetched pretexts. "This was an initially losing strategy, if only because they are not the whole world, nor even the majority of it," the President remarked. Over the past few years, Belarus's export commodity flows have been reoriented from the West to other markets.

"The countries of the 'far arc,' whose doors are open to us, are no longer just an 'engine' of economic growth, but a space of equal partners where the interests of leading world powers intersect, and new alliances and centers of power are being formed. The attention of everyone without exception is focused today on Asia, Africa, and the Middle East," emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.

In Asia, Belarus is actively developing dialogue with China, Iran, Vietnam, Indonesia, Pakistan, the DPRK, India, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and other countries. In the Middle East, it actively cooperates with Oman, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, adhering to a bridge-building tactic where certain countries act as Belarus's conduits to other regions.

Belarus has achieved significant results in Africa. Last year, exports there grew substantially, reaching over half a billion dollars. "Joint agricultural mechanization programs with Zimbabwe and Nigeria are being successfully implemented. This element of cooperation has become a brand of Belarus in Africa and is of significant interest to other countries on the continent, from Guinea-Bissau to Mozambique. Ties with traditional partners such as Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, and Ethiopia are strengthening. Contacts with Algeria have received new impetus," the President cited examples. "We remain true to our approaches – we come to Africa as friends, to help and teach where there is a need."

Regarding Latin America, Belarus aims to comprehensively strengthen interstate dialogue with key allies in the region – Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua. Thanks to the systematic and progressive development of cooperation with Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Panama, Uruguay, and Ecuador, practical returns and the readiness of these countries for pragmatic interaction are evident.

In addition to developing bilateral contacts, the President also drew attention to cooperation with international organizations. He recalled that Belarus has become a full member of one of the largest and most influential regional structures, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Belarus has acquired the status of a BRICS partner – an association that is essentially the voice of the global majority.

"Our strategic contribution to the stability and development of Asia, Africa, and Latin America is ensuring food security. We can offer and, most importantly, implement comprehensive integrated solutions – from the supply of agricultural machinery and technology transfer to the organization of processing, storage, maintenance, and logistics. Our calling card on the global stage is thoroughness and unwavering implementation of agreements reached, the ability to solve large-scale problems with optimal resources," emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.
