On November 18, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 400, approving the plan for drafting legislative acts for 2026. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The plan was developed by the National Center for Legislation and Legal Information through detailed processing of proposals from state bodies, other organizations, and citizens.

When selecting draft laws, the real need of society for the regulation of relevant relations and the priority of their legal regulation were taken into account.

The plan includes 33 draft laws, including fundamentally new ones such as the Health Code, the Environmental Code, and the laws "On Civil Protection" and "On Foreign gratuitous aid." The preparation of other draft laws aimed at the systematic updating of existing laws is also envisaged.
