Lukashenko Approves Key Development Forecast Parameters for Belarus in 2026
Gross domestic product growth is set at 102.8% compared to the 2025 level, which will be facilitated by increased investment in fixed assets, outpacing growth in exports of goods and services, and stimulating growth in population incomes.
Corresponding forecast parameters are also established by the decree. It is planned that for investment purposes next year, 3.1% more will be directed from all sources of funding than in the current year. Exports of goods and services will increase by 3.7% with a predominant increase in their physical volumes. To achieve this, it is planned to expand cooperation with anchor points in distant countries and restore presence in traditional CIS sales markets.
Targeted work on qualitative development and expansion of export potential will ensure a 4.8% growth in real disposable money incomes of the population.
The National Bank and the government are set a target task to limit inflation to a level not exceeding 7%.
The decree establishes a requirement for the government to approve a socio-economic development plan for 2026, which will serve as a tool for achieving the designated benchmarks.
