Lukashenko Hears Report from Krupko. Main Topic: Situation in Gomel Region Amid Snowfalls
On January 7, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko heard a detailed report from the Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee, Ivan Krupko. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The main topic of the report was the situation in the region in connection with heavy snowfalls and an approaching cyclone – efforts to ensure the stable functioning of infrastructure, clearing of streets and transport routes. Alexander Lukashenko inquired whether the Gomel region needed any assistance in this regard.The President was also informed about the implementation of instructions following last year's meeting in Vitebsk, where issues of the agricultural sector's operations were discussed. For this purpose, labor resources from industrial enterprises are also involved, providing assistance to agricultural organizations.
