International Competition "Together Against Corruption!"
The Republic of Belarus is a party to the UN Convention against Corruption. The Law of the Republic of Belarus "On the Ratification of the United Nations Convention against Corruption" designates the General Prosecutor's Office as the body coordinating its implementation.
In accordance with Article 13 of the said Convention, each State Party shall take appropriate measures to promote the active participation of individuals and groups outside the public sector in the prevention of and the fight against corruption and to foster a deeper understanding of the existence, causes and gravity of and the threats posed by corruption.
In order to organize constructive international cooperation, create an atmosphere of intolerance towards corruption, and take joint effective measures to combat this negative social phenomenon, Belarus, along with Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan, actively participates in the activities of the Interstate Council for Combating Corruption, a sectoral cooperation body of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation annually organizes the International Youth Competition of Social Anti-Corruption Advertising "Together Against Corruption!", open to participants from any country.
The co-organizers of the international competition are the General Prosecutor's Offices of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Armenia, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Contestants aged 10 to 25 are invited to prepare thematic social advertising in the nominations "Best Drawing", "Best Poster", and "Best Video".
It is expected that the competition entries will reflect modern state mechanisms for combating corruption at all levels and in all spheres of society and state life, as well as the role and significance of international cooperation in this area.
Submissions are accepted on the official website of the international competition www.anticorruption.life until October 1, 2025. The rules for its conduct are also posted there.
The international competition consists of two stages.
The first stage – the semi-final – will be held from May 1 to October 1, 2025, separately in each country. Entries in each nomination will be evaluated by national competition commissions. A awards ceremony is planned based on the results.
The first-place entries will advance to the second stage – the final – which will take place in October – November 2025. During this stage, the International Jury of the competition will determine the winners and prize-winners in each nomination. The solemn ceremony of their awarding with diplomas, valuable gifts, and commemorative prizes is planned to be held in Moscow, coinciding with the International Anti-Corruption Day (December 9).
