Today, April 11, a rally dedicated to the International Day of Prisoners of War Liberation was held at the mass grave of war«In 2025, we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. Every republic of the post-Soviet space made its invaluable contribution to the defeat of fascism, and in every family today lives the memory of those who stood up to defend the Motherland, who did not return from the battlefield, who forged the Great Victory with their selfless labor in the rear, emphasized Alexander Ivanovich. – Fascism dealt humanity a terrible blow. The war spared neither children, nor the elderly, nor women – everyone perished regardless of age, gender, or nationality.
The greatest number of people died not at the fronts, but in death camps. Fascists created unbearable conditions for people in concentration camps, but they could not break the will to win. It is terrible to remember, but it cannot be forgotten. Every year on April 11, a mournful date is observed worldwide – the International Day of the Liberation of Prisoners of Nazi Concentration Camps. It was established in memory of the international uprising of prisoners of the Buchenwald concentration camp on April 11, 1945. It is the sacred duty of each of us to cherish the memory of the unparalleled feat of former prisoners of concentration camps, prisons, and ghettos who passed through the death factories and survived to become an example of courage for the younger generation.

On behalf of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee, the District Council of Deputies, and all residents of the district, I sincerely wish you and your loved ones good health, longevity, and peaceful skies over our beloved Belarus!»
The monstrous crimes of the German-fascist invaders have not and will never be erased from memory. It is impossible to recall without pain the atrocities of the fascists, who tortured, shot, and gassed millions of people. And after so many years, fascism is raising its head again. Explosions are thundering again, old people and children are dying, young soldiers are dying on the fronts of wars that nobody needs.
There is no statute of limitations for fascist crimes, which means that attempts to glorify fascism can and should be considered complicity in its spread. These attempts should have no place in the modern world. The horrors of World War II must not be repeated, and the memory of the victims of fascism must live in each of us.
The most unthinkable and horrific of fascist atrocities were the death camps. The primary goal of the fascists in these camps was to destroy human dignity, turn people into animals, and exterminate them based on nationality. A total of over 18 million people passed through concentration camps, of whom about 12 million perished.
AUSCHWITZ – over four million people exterminated. WE REMEMBER THEM!
BUCHENWALD – 56 thousand prisoners. WE REMEMBER!
DACHAU – about seventy thousand people tortured or killed. WE REMEMBER!
MAJDANEK – about one and a half million lives exterminated. WE REMEMBER!
TREBLINKA and TREBLINKA II. In Treblinka, about ten thousand people died; in Treblinka II – about eight hundred thousand. WE REMEMBER!
MAUTHAUSEN – about three hundred and thirty-five thousand people were imprisoned; over one hundred and twenty-two thousand people were executed. WE REMEMBER!
TROSTENETS – the largest death camp in Belarus, where over two hundred thousand people were exterminated. WE REMEMBER!
The bright memory of all those who perished during the Great Patriotic War was honored with a minute of silence. To the sounds of a metronome, we thought: we are entrusted with preserving this world, we are responsible for the future of peace! Such atrocities must not happen again! Never! Happiness and goodness to you, friends! May there always be a clear sky above us!
