A man suffered burns to 95% of his body in a fire in the Beshenkovichi district

On March 20 at 17:53, rescuers received a report of a residential building fire in the agro-town of Ulla, Beshenkovichi District.

Upon arrival of the Ministry of Emergency Situations units at the scene, open burning of the residential building was observed.

The owner, born in 1970, lived with a man born in 1987. At the time of the fire, the woman was at work. Before the rescuers arrived, the man left the dwelling on his own; he was later hospitalized with burns to 95% of his body.

As a result of the fire, the roof, ceiling, walls, and property in the house were damaged. A check is being conducted regarding this incident, and the cause of the fire is being established. Two most probable versions of the fire's origin are being considered: careless handling of fire while smoking by the man or violation of the rules for operating a heating stove.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds: do not

do not leave stoves unattended, do not throw unextinguished matches and cigarette butts on combustible materials. Take care of yourself!
