In the territory of the Beshenkovichi district a series of preventive measures will be held

In 2023, the number of fire fatalities in the Beshenkovichi district increased, with 4 people dying throughout the year. The specific indicator of fire fatalities per 100,000 population is twice the regional average.
The highest number of fire fatalities in residential buildings in 2023 and the preceding 3 years was recorded in the Beshenkovichi and Ullsky rural councils of the Beshenkovichi district.
Due to the current operational situation and the sharp increase in fires in the residential sector, a decision has been made to conduct a series of preventive measures in the aforementioned rural councils of the Beshenkovichi district from January 22 to 26.
Throughout the week, preventive entities will conduct awareness campaigns with citizens, paying special attention to lonely and elderly people living alone, disabled individuals, and persons at risk. They will inspect their homes for fire safety, hold discussions in work collectives, at village meetings, and in educational institutions.
