On the territory of the Republic of Belarus, from July 29 to August 3, 2019, a special comprehensive event 'Byt' is being held.

                In order to improve the operational situation and take additional measures aimed at preventing crimes against life and health of citizens in the sphere of family and domestic relations, to draw the attention of broad sections of the population to the problem of violence, to explain to citizens the need to assist state bodies in solving the tasks of minimizing the consequences of offenses committed on this basis in the Republic of Belarus, from July 29 to August 3, 2019, a special comprehensive event "Family" is being held.

                To solve the problems of domestic violence, you can get help from:

1.    Law enforcement agencies.If you have been subjected to domestic violence, please contact the law enforcement agencies by calling 102.

2.    Psychologists and lawyers of the free hotline for victims of domestic violence 8-801-100-8-801.The hotline operates daily from 8:00 to 20:00, and you can call from anywhere in the Republic. Assistance is provided anonymously and free of charge.

3.    Territorial centers for social services for the population.The centers employ psychologists and social workers who can help understand the situation.

4.    Medical Institutions.If you have been subjected to physical violence, seek medical attention and have the injuries documented.

5.    Public Associations.They will provide you with psychological, social, and legal assistance.

 

            Furthermore, we kindly request you to report the locations of illegal production, storage, or sale of alcohol-containing products. These are one of the causes of drunkenness, which hinders our prosperity, causes violence, increased mortality, family breakdown, and maternal and child suffering.
