The Head of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations, Major of Internal Service, Zhuk Viktor Anatolyevich, met with residents of the Sorzhitsky Village Council of the Beshenkovichi District.

The meeting was aimed at further training employees on fire safety rules to enhance the fire safety knowledge of rural residents. Viktor Anatolyevich reminded the villagers about observing fire safety rules in everyday life, actions in case of a fire, and the proper use of primary fire extinguishing equipment.

In his speech, the head of the EMERCOM unit paid special attention to the emergencies that occurred this year, and spoke about the causes of fatalities in fires, where human carelessness is the main factor in accidents.

Particular attention was paid to one of the most pressing issues today – ensuring children's safety during holidays. After all, one wrong step by a child, or the inattentiveness and carelessness of parents, can turn into a tragedy. EMERCOM employees urged adults not to leave children unattended under any circumstances, to monitor their leisure activities, to be role models, and to constantly remind them of the rules of safe behavior at home and outdoors.
