Supervisory and preventive measures at construction sites in the district
With the aim of preventing emergencies at construction sites in the Beshenkovichi district, employees of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations (hereinafter referred to as the RDCS) conducted a set of supervisory and preventive measures (technical measures, raids, discussions, briefings for employees, etc.) at the construction sites of the district from 31.10.2023 to 24.11.2023.
For the elapsed period of 2023, RDCS employees issued 8 conclusions on compliance with the requirements for construction sites located in the district, construction and installation work is currently underway at 3 sites, work has been frozen at 1 more construction site, and approximately 50 sites where competent authorities have issued permits for design and construction, but work has not yet begun.
The most common violations at construction sites since 2023 were violations of a regulatory nature committed by contracting organizations, namely:
provision of primary fire extinguishing means for buildings under construction, territories and utility rooms (absent or incomplete);
cluttering of the territory with combustible waste and construction debris;
presenceheating stoves in temporary accommodation units that do not meet the requirements;
storage (keeping) of combustible materials (building structures) within established fire separation distances, etc.
We would like to remind you once again about the strict observance of fire safety regulations, both during construction and installation work, and during the design of these facilities.
We recommend that the owners of construction sites (developers), in order to prevent possible emergencies, as well as problems during the acceptance of the construction site for operation, analyze the progress of construction and installation work and design. In case of any questions, please contact the competent authority for consultation (for the current period of 2023, motivated refusals to accept construction sites were issued three times).
