The period of prohibition on the destruction of bird nests has begun!

The Beshenkovichi District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection informs that from February 16 to August 14, the destruction of bird nests is prohibited.

In accordance with Article 19 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Wildlife", during the period from August 15 to February 15, it is permitted to regulate the spread and numbers of birds that harm components of the natural environment, as well as degrade the sanitary and aesthetic condition of settlements, residential, industrial, cultural, domestic and other buildings and structures, or cause disturbance to residents of settlements, by destroying their nests located on plantings in settlements, residential, industrial, cultural, domestic and other buildings and structures.

In accordance with Part 4 of Article 16.23 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses, violation of the rules for regulating the spread and numbers of wild animals entails a fine in the following amount:

for an individual - up to twenty basic units,

for an individual entrepreneur - up to fifty basic units,

for a legal entity - up to two hundred basic units.
