Do not leave children unattended!
This is the appeal from the country's rescuers to parents. The republican campaign of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which will take place in the region from May 3 to June 1, is also called this.
It has long been no secret that child injuries and deaths are the result of the carelessness of adults who were supposed to look after them but at some point relaxed their vigilance.
Teaching parents safety rules, conducting interesting educational contests and games – all this and more is offered by rescuers within the framework of the campaign.
The campaign will be held in four stages and will cover educational institutions, family-type homes, healthcare facilities, as well as places with mass gatherings of people. Parents will be reminded that leaving children, especially young ones, unattended can lead to tragic consequences.
As part of the campaign, rescuers also plan to hold a contest dedicated to the International Day of Families, called "Safe FamIly".
