New Rules for Registration of Individual Entrepreneurs in Belarus
In connection with the entry into force of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of April 22, 2024 No. 365-Z "On Amendments to Laws on Entrepreneurial Activities", from October 1, 2024, the state registration of an individual entrepreneur is not carried out if the application for state registration indicates a type of activity not included in the list of activities permitted for carrying out as an individual entrepreneur, approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of June 28, 2024 No. 457.
Individuals registered as individual entrepreneurs before October 1, 2024, have the right to continue carrying out activities not included in the specified list until December 31, 2025, or to create a commercial organization and cease their activities as an individual entrepreneur.
The procedure for an individual entrepreneur to create a commercial organization can be found in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of April 22, 2024 No. 365-Z "On Amendments to Laws on Entrepreneurial Activities", as well as on the website of the district executive committee in the section "State Registration and Liquidation of Business Entities".
