On the list of fishing grounds in the territory of the Beshenkovichi district

By the Resolution of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee dated July 19, 2022 No. 380 "On the list of fishing grounds" (as amended by the Resolution of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee dated May 31, 2023 No. 298), a list of fishing grounds has been determined in which underwater hunting and (or) trolling from vessels with engines, which allows the use of one lure or bait per angler, is permitted during daylight hours:

          At the same time, based on the Resolution of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus dated April 21, 2022 No. 42, a republican list of fishing grounds suitable for conducting fishery management, which can be leased to legal entities, has been approved.

            Currently, four water bodies have been included in this list in the Beshenkovichi district:

1.    Borovno Lake, area 202.4 ha, is located 25 km east of the urban-type settlement Beshenkovichi, 2 km northwest of the village of Obukhovo;

2.    Korenevskoye Lake (Svyatoye), area 37 ha, is located 28 km northwest of the urban-type settlement Beshenkovichi, 4 km west of the urban-type settlement Ulla;

3.    Platishno Lake, area 23 ha, is located 20 km northwest of the urban-type settlement Beshenkovichi near the village of Bortniki-2;

4.    Chernitsa Lake, area 19.1 ha, is located 28 km east of Beshenkovichi town, 1 km northwest of Lotygovo village;

Fishing grounds are leased to legal entities by agreement with the President of the Republic of Belarus based on the results of a competition, on the basis of a decision of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Regional Executive Committee), agreed with the Aide to the President of the Republic of Belarus – Inspector for the region.

            To obtain fishing grounds for lease, a legal entity provides the Regional Executive Committee with the following documents:

1.     An application for leasing fishing grounds;

2.     A biological and economic justification for fisheries management, agreed in the manner established by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus;

3.     Integrated plan for the use of fishing grounds.
