On the deadlines for collecting wild lingonberries and cranberries

By the Resolution of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee No. 477 dated July 29, 2024, the harvesting seasons for cranberries and lingonberries have been established. According to the resolution, the collection and harvesting of lingonberries are permitted on the territory of the Vitebsk region from August 10, and cranberries – from September 4.

Violation of the established seasons, the use of prohibited means or methods for collecting or harvesting mushrooms, other wild plants or their parts, tree sap, or any other violation of the rules for collection or harvesting, in accordance with Part 2 of Article 16.19 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses, entails administrative liability: for individuals – a fine of up to 20 base units (800 rubles), for individual entrepreneurs – up to 100 base units (4,000 rubles), for legal entities – up to 500 base units (20,000 rubles).
