On the limitation of the time of sale of alcoholic beverages in the territory of Beshenkovichi district

Based on paragraph 5 of Article 11 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of August 27, 2008 No. 429-Z "On State Regulation of Production and Circulation of Alcoholic, Non-Food Alcohol-Containing Products and Non-Food Ethyl Alcohol", the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee RESOLVES:

1. To restrict the sale of alcoholic beverages within the territory of the Beshenkovichi District in retail outlets, with the exception of retail sales in catering establishments for consumption on-site:

from 07:00 to 19:00 – in connection with events aimed at promoting (popularizing) a healthy lifestyle, preventing drunkenness and alcoholism, and combating them, timed to coincide with the "Last Bell" holiday (May 25, 2023), Knowledge Day (September 1, 2023), and World Day of Sobriety and Alcohol Abstinence (October 3, 2023); 

from 14:00 to 24:00 on June 10, 2023 – in connection with graduation ceremonies at general secondary education institutions. The restrictions specified in the first part of this paragraph shall not apply to the sale of alcoholic beverages by retail outlets engaged in retail trade in connection with the holding of ritual ceremonies, anniversary or wedding celebrations. 

2. To assign control over the implementation of this decision to the Internal Affairs Department of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee, the Deputy Chairpersons of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee by area of activity, and the Chairpersons of the rural executive committees.

3. To make this decision public (publish) in the district newspaper "Zarya". 

4. This decision shall enter into force upon its official publication.
