Location for Epiphany Bathing in Beshenkovichi Determined
The location, as in previous years, is "Chistyye Prudy" (Clean Ponds) near the hospital.
On January 19, from 11 AM to 5 PM, the water blessing ceremony will take place at the Holy Ilyinsky Church. From 12 PM to 1 PM, the church rector, Vitaly Kisel, will bless the baptismal font at the pond.
Changing facilities will be provided for those wishing to plunge into the January waters, and hot tea will be available to warm up in tent pavilions.
