Rest without harm to nature

To promote a careful attitude towards nature among residents and guests of Belarus, prevent violations of environmental legislation and damage to the environment during recreation, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, together with public ecologists, is holding the campaign "Rest Right: Without Harming Nature!" from July 10 to July 17 of the current year.

During the specified period, state environmental inspectors will conduct raids to prevent violations of environmental legislation by the public during visits to recreational areas and zones near water bodies, specially protected natural areas (SPNAs), amateur fishing, as well as educational work on organizing recreation without harming nature.

The most common violations of environmental legislation committed by "unfortunate tourists" include: lighting fires in prohibited areas, burning dry vegetation, washing and parking vehicles outside designated areas, unauthorized waste disposal, damage and destruction of green spaces, including red-listed plants, and others.

We remind you that administrative liability is provided for the above-mentioned violations. In addition,

such violations may result in environmental damage and, depending on the amount of damage caused, criminal liability.

Respect nature - respect yourself! Be respectful, relax without harming nature, not only during the campaign, but always!
