An X-ray room has opened at the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Cardiology Center. The material and technical base of the cardiology center is systematically strengthening.

In 2025 alone, the second angiography room and the X-ray computed tomography diagnostics room have been opened here.

The modern diagnostic equipment available at the cardiology center provides optimal conditions for high-quality patient examination and treatment.

A digital X-ray system for two workstations, "Uniexpert 2 plus," of domestic production, was purchased using the republican budget. Funding for renovation work in the X-ray room was allocated from the regional budget.

- We have a good tradition: we equip healthcare facilities in the Vitebsk region with new modern equipment, making the diagnostic base more accessible for both specialists and patients. I know there are further plans, and this is very important. Moving forward is always crucial, - noted Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, during the grand opening.

The new equipment is intended for X-ray examinations conducted on digital media, which allows information to be transmitted directly to specialist doctors at their workstations in online mode.

– The equipment will speed up X-ray examinations, reduce the radiation dose for patients, and allow for a greater number of examinations per working shift, – said the chief physician of the institution, Natalia Podolinskaya. – The new equipment is designed for X-ray examination of the skull, spine, chest organs, joints, hands, feet, and soft tissues of a patient in a sitting, standing, or lying position.

The Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers provided funding for the arrangement of a dining room for the staff of the X-ray department. A refrigerator, microwave oven, soft furnishings, and kitchen furniture were purchased.
