Pensioners are one of the most important categories of the population that are under the close attention of the Ministry of Emergency Situations

 To ensure safety and reduce the number of fire incidents involving them, propagandists use various forms of work, one of which is the republican campaign "With Care for the Safety of the Small Motherland," the goal of which is to prevent fires due to careless handling of fire and the death of elderly people in them.  

In addition, to draw people's attention to the existing problem and remind them of the need to control the fire safety status in nursing homes of relatives, the information campaign "Safe Old Age" has been developed, 

The causes of fires in pensioners' homes are trivial: careless handling of fire, operation of faulty electrical appliances or stove heating, food left unattended on the stove. Loss of vigilance, decreased vision and hearing, memory problems – these are factors that can play a fatal role. It is beyond the capabilities of an elderly person to repair a stove, electrical wiring, or install a fire alarm on their own.

It would seem that in such a situation, grown-up children should come to the fore, who can correct the situation. But reality turns out to be very sad: in the hustle and bustle of days, they forget about the elderly

parents or do not consider it their duty to provide them with a full and safe old age, assuring themselves that nothing bad will happen to them. And what about elderly relatives, who for many are not as close as mom and dad, but at the same time also need help?..
