"A Letter about Belarus": Raising True Patriots
On the eve of Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, a special, solemn atmosphere reigned in kindergarten No. 1 of the district center: an event dedicated to the main state holiday and the republican patriotic project "A Letter about Belarus" was held here.
This project, implemented jointly by the Prosecutor General's Office and the Ministry of Education, is aimed at fostering children's love for their homeland, respect for its history and state symbols.
Young patriots in beautiful national costumes recited touching poems about their native land, sang songs, and played folk games...
The preschoolers were visited by distinguished guests – the assistant prosecutor of the district, Alesya Pristavko, and the methodologist of the educational and methodological office, Victoria Pilipyonok. They not only watched the performance but also talked with the children about what it means to love one's homeland and be its worthy citizen.
At the end of the celebration, the participants went to the Mound of Glory to honor the memory of the liberator soldiers with a minute of silence and lay flowers at the memorial.
