Upon the prosecutor's claim, the rights and legitimate interests of a minor child in Beshenkovichi district have been protected.
V.O.I. applied to the Prosecutor's Office of Beshenkovichi District, Vitebsk Region, with a request for assistance in depriving L.V.G. of parental rights regarding the minor V.M.V.
During the inspection, the Prosecutor's Office of Beshenkovichi District found that citizen L. had not worked for a long period, had not provided financial assistance since the child's birth, had not participated in upbringing, and had not shown care for the child's physical development and health.
The collected data on citizen L.'s personality indicated that he had been repeatedly convicted, including imprisonment, and at the time of considering the deprivation of parental rights, he was serving such a sentence by court verdict. He was prone to aggression and committing unlawful acts against close relatives, abused alcoholic beverages, maintained contact with individuals leading an antisocial lifestyle, and was repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility for committing offenses while intoxicated. The last crime was committed by L. against his mother at V.O.I.'s place of residence and in front of the minor V.M.V.
Following the inspection, the Prosecutor's Office of Beshenkovichi District, in order to protect the rights and legitimate interests of the child, filed a statement of claim for the deprivation of L.'s parental rights in accordance with Article 80 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Marriage and Family.
As a result of the civil case review, the Beshenkovichi District Court decided to deprive citizen L. of parental rights regarding the minor V.M.V.
The court decision has entered into legal force.
