Along the route of the mobile shop
As part of the Republican campaign "With Care for the Safety of the Small Motherland," employees of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a raid along the route of a mobile shop in the territory of the Verkhnekrivinsky rural council.
While traveling through the settlements of the district, the main focus for the rescuers was the upcoming heating season. Now, one might say, is the last opportunity before the heating season to carry out preventive work on heating stoves: to check the serviceability of chimneys and the integrity of the stoves themselves, to control the draft, and to install hearth mats. Citing examples of fires, the inspector of the propaganda and public relations sector, Daria Beresten, spoke about the events preceding the fire, what caused the fire, and what all the emergency incidents had in common.
– The undeniable fact that unites most fires is that you can't get away from the notorious "human factor," says the inspector. – An unplugged power cord, unattended children, a small crack in the stove masonry – these are all links in the same fatal chain. And it is within our power to do everything to prevent disaster; all that is needed is to be a little more attentive.
The inspector tried not only to remind every rural resident of safety rules, but also to highlight specific points to pay attention to in everyday life.
