The District Prosecutor's Office participated in the Republican Creative Competition in the nomination "Best Creative Project of the Year"

Annually, the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus organizes and conducts the Republican Creative Competition for the best coverage of the activities of the prosecutor's offices of the Republic of Belarus in the media.

This competition has been held by the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus for 14 years, with active participation from: prosecutor's offices at all levels, individual prosecutors, author collectives, and individual media correspondents.

This year, materials for the Republican Competition were submitted in the nomination "Best Creative Project of the Year" and presented as a series of materials dedicated to the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and the investigation of the genocide case. The work is presented in the form of a journal containing a description of the district's history during the war and its heroes, places of military glory and commemoration of victims, work dedicated to covering the topic of genocide, as well as direct copies of articles and interview transcripts published in the media.

For reference: during the investigation of the genocide criminal case, the district prosecutor's office interviewed more than 40 citizens, including 11 prisoners forcibly removed from the territory of the BSSR; more than 20 individuals were recognized as victims of Nazi invaders and their collaborators; more than 20 burial sites of civilians were inspected, including 6 presumed (previously unrecorded) sites located near the villages of Sloboda, Chanovichi, Ozerki, the agro-towns of Bocheikovo and Rzhavka, as well as within the urban settlement of Beshenkovichi; 2 places of forced detention of the population were established (a camp near the villages of Sloboda and Bortniki, a prison in the urban settlement of Beshenkovichi); inspections were carried out of fully and partially destroyed settlements of the Beshenkovichi district by German occupiers and their collaborators. More than 100 such inspections were conducted, with on-site visits and recording of exact coordinates.

The results of the competition and the awards ceremony are held for the professional holiday "Prosecutor'semployees and prosecutor's office employees" celebrated annually on June 26.
