Regarding the safe stay of minors in parks, on children's playgrounds and sports grounds - the Beshenkovichi District Prosecutor's Office conducted a relevant inspection.
To prevent child injuries, on April 22, 2019, the Deputy Chairman of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee approved a corresponding action plan for the prevention of child injuries for 2019-2020, which includes a number of mandatory measures.
However, during the inspection of parks, as well as children's playgrounds and sports grounds in the urban settlement, a number of violations of the requirements of current legislation and the relevant injury prevention plan were found.
Thus, to date, the issue of open metal manholes on military equipment (tanks, combat and airborne infantry vehicles) located in Komsomoltsy Park remains relevant.
In the Central Park of the urban settlement, two ponds are not equipped with any information signs (plates, billboards) prohibiting swimming. The end of the pedestrian bridge is not fenced, as a result of which there is an inclined access to the water. The park is also in an unsatisfactory sanitary condition: its territory is not mowed, garbage is scattered around the perimeter, in the back part of the pedestrian path there are shards of broken glass bottles, and fallen tree branches near the swings.
During the inspection of children's playgrounds and sports grounds, the district prosecutor's office revealed violations affecting the safety of being on them and creating risks of injury.
On the playground near house No. 65 on Uritsky Street, an open sewer manhole covered with a board was found. The slide, sports bars and swings are not painted, the benches are broken (iron elements protrude). The territory of the playground itself is not mowed, there is no sand in the sandbox. Trash cans are full, broken boards on benches and children's swings have not been replaced.
Children's playgrounds on Molodezhnaya Street (no sand in sandboxes, an unsecured grate is placed under a large stair slide, large boulders and stones are scattered around the perimeter of the playground, children's swings are broken, insecurely fastened, remaining elements from swings pose a danger, not dismantled, benches are broken, boards on them are not replaced, children's bars, swings and slides are not painted), Chernyakhovsky Street (no sand in sandboxes, benches are broken, children's bars, swings and slides are not painted, boards on swings are not replaced (iron elements protrude)), Internatsionalnaya Street (no sand in sandboxes, benches are broken, children's bars, swings and slides are not painted, boards on swings are not replaced (iron elements protrude)), Pushkin Street (no sand in sandboxes, benches are broken, children's bars, swings and slides are not painted) are in a similar condition.
In addition, the territory of children's playgrounds is not mowed, on some playgrounds there is high grass, the territory is not kept clean (there is an accumulation of papers, glass and plastic bottles, etc.), boards, broken household furniture and other construction debris are piled near the playgrounds.
The district prosecutor's office also paid attention to the condition of large children's playgrounds located on Pushkin Street and Molodezhnaya Street (near the State Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 6 of Beshenkovichi"). Thus, on these playgrounds, the perimeter fence needs repair, is partially missing altogether, large stones are scattered, bars, slides and swings are not painted. On the playground on Molodezhnaya Street, the ladder from a broken slide has not been dismantled.
Measures of prosecutorial response have been taken regarding the identified violations, a submission has been made to the Beshenkovichidistrict executive committee with a demand to take measures to eliminate and prevent further violations of legislation aimed at ensuring the safety of minors, the issue of bringing the responsible officials to disciplinary action has been raised.
