Stolen Saved Fuel

The Beshenkovichi District Prosecutor's Office supported the state prosecution in the criminal case against tractor driver B. of one of the district's agricultural enterprises.

It was established that he, being a financially responsible person, during agricultural work on the tractor assigned to him, by embezzlement, stole at least 246 liters of saved diesel fuel over the course of a month, which he sold for cash to his acquaintances.

During the preliminary investigation of the criminal case, the damage caused was fully compensated.

Based on the evidence provided by the state prosecutor, the Beshenkovichi District Court found B. guilty of embezzlement of property entrusted to him, and in accordance with Part 1 of Article 211 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, sentenced him to 1 year and 6 months of restricted freedom without referral to an open-type correctional institution, with a fine of 80 basic units, which amounts to 3360 rubles, without deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities.

The court's verdict has entered into legal force.
