Physically, spiritually, and morally strengthened. More than 300 privates from the 103rd Vitebsk Separate Guards Airborne Brigade are returning home. On October 20, a solemn ceremony of farewell to the battle flag was held for them on Victory Square.

"Nobody but us!" – this motto of the "winged" guard united hundreds of young men from all over Belarus. During their service, the paratroopers mastered modern types of weapons and equipment and participated in exercises.

– The soldiers have worthily passed all the trials, becoming hardened physically and spiritually. The young men were sent to reinforce the State Border of Belarus and took part in many training sessions. Today, they are ready to perform tasks of any complexity, – noted the brigade commander, Colonel Vladimir Safonov.
Soldiers and officers laid flowers at the Eternal Flame – a symbol of the resilience, courage, and selflessness of the Fatherland's defenders who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our people.

At the solemn ceremony of farewell to the battle flag, the brigade commander awarded the best soldiers with certificates of honor and gifts. The personnel demonstrated high organization, discipline, and training.

Upon completion of the event, the servicemen being discharged into the reserve marched in unison, with a steady step, across Victory Square to the sounds of a march performed by the military orchestra.
