Order or ashes?

Burning trash on a personal plot or simply near buildings can easily cause a fire and damage, or even completely destroy buildings or parked vehicles nearby.

It is difficult to stop a raging flame, and not only property can suffer, but also the arsonist themselves or people who happen to be at the scene of the fire. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are aware of cases where, before the eyes of the perpetrators, the fire spread to residential buildings and sheds.

To avoid trouble, follow elementary safety rules:

- Do not burn grass. In addition to being harmful to plants and animals, fire can also be dangerous to people.

- Do not leave fires unattended. Thoroughly extinguish cigarette butts and matches before discarding them.

- If you notice a fire, do not pass by. You can extinguish burning grass yourself. When extinguishing with improvised means, you can beat out the flames from the fire edge with a bundle of twigs or branches of deciduous trees, or cover the fire edge with sand.

- After extinguishing the fire, do not leave until you are sure that the fire will not reignite.

- If you realize that you cannot extinguish the flame yourself, immediately report the incident by calling 101 and try to leave the fire scene as quickly as possible.

Burning garbage on your

on the plot, of course, it is possible, but at the same time it is necessary to observe elementary safety rules. This should only be done in calm weather. It is better to build fires far from buildings, forests or haystacks. If there is nothing from the above nearby, you are ready to monitor the fire and have a fire extinguisher or a bucket of water at hand, then you are doing everything correctly.
