Combining newsreel footage, accounts of eyewitnesses and participants in the events – rescuers, police officers, doctors, scientists, workers of industrial and agricultural enterprises, and ordinary residents of the affected regions – from the elderly to the youth, and current footage, the film's authors recreate a large-scale picture of the nationwide effort to overcome the accident's consequences and revive Belarusian lands, led by the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko.

By comparing historical and modern footage, listening to the emotional recollections of liquidators and residents of the affected areas, and expert commentaries, viewers can vividly imagine the scale of the achievements of the Belarusian people, who not only overcame the consequences of the man-made disaster but also restored the affected territories to full life.

The premiere screening of the film in Minsk will take place on April 16, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the "Moskva" cinema. On the same day, film screenings will begin throughout the country.
