Preventive meetings continue. Beshenkovichi district

To enhance public literacy in safety matters, prevent emergencies, and avoid loss of life, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) conduct preventive measures with labor collectives of the district.
As part of instructional and explanatory work, the First Deputy Head of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations, Ryabenko Vitaly Viktorovich, held a meeting with employees of the secondary school and kindergarten located in the agro-town of Ostrovno, Beshenkovichi District.
During the presentation, such problematic issues as rules of conduct in forests and peat bogs, rules for burning garbage, and rules for using fire extinguishers were addressed. In addition, the MES representative reminded those present about the mobile application "MES Belarus: Help is Nearby," its functions, and purpose. An autonomous fire alarm was also demonstrated, along with its purpose, installation rules, and invaluable benefit to the public, illustrated with real examples of fires and lives saved precisely thanks to the alarm. Furthermore, within the framework of the Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus program's international technical assistance project, Vitaly Viktorovich outlined the main goals and objectives of the project and handed out educational materials.
