Fire Prevention

In 2018, the district saw a significant increase in fires, from 17 to 26. As a result of these fires, 1 person died and 3 people were injured. The main causes of fires were violations of installation, operation, and design rules for electrical appliances, violations of operating rules for stoves and heating appliances, as well as careless handling of fire, including while intoxicated.

The identified causes of fires indicate the need to intensify fire prevention measures in households, including those of large families, families raising children, single individuals, elderly citizens living alone, and people with disabilities.

Maximum coverage of the population with individual preventive work is possible only with the participation of all interested prevention entities in accordance with their competence.

It can also be noted that the causes and conditions contributing to the occurrence of fires, deaths, and injuries were the insufficient effectiveness of the work of inspection commissions under rural executive committees, the lack of interdepartmental cooperation, and the inability to counteract the increase in fires in the district.
