A career guidance meeting on choosing a future profession was held at Secondary School No. 2 in Beshenkovichi named after M. N. Tkachenko. Representatives of the Beshenkovichi Forestry enterprise – Deputy Head of the organization for ideological work Elena Morozova and Forest Protection Engineer Pavel Chernyavsky – spoke with the students.
The forestry enterprise's ideologist told the students about the enterprise, its areas of activity, and structure, as well as the specifics of its professions. The discussion also covered which educational institutions train forestry specialists and the admission rules for 2026. The schoolchildren also learned about the possibility of obtaining a targeted referral.
"The State Forestry Institution 'Beshenkovichi Forestry' has the opportunity to conclude contracts for targeted training for full-time study at educational institutions of forestry profile in the specialties ('Forestry') at the Educational Institution 'Belarusian State Technological University', 'Polotsk State Forestry College', 'Vitebsk State Technological College'," emphasized Elena Morozova. "In addition, the forestry enterprise has the opportunity to provide targeted contracts to the Ulla State College named after L. M. Dovator for blue-collar professions: qualification 'Tractor driver-machinist of agricultural production of categories C, D'. As well as 'Electric welder of manual welding, 3rd category' and 'Driver of category C vehicle'.
Enrollment of applicants with target contracts is carried out through a separate competition, and education is provided on a state-funded basis. A graduate who has received education based on target training has guaranteed employment in a forestry institution.
A special emphasis of the meeting was placed on the fact that now all target students will receive support from the forestry enterprise in the amount of five base units. And this is a good addition to the scholarship!
Detailed information on admission to educational institutions of forestry profile, and on concluding target training agreements can be obtained by phone 8-(033)-342-73-82.
Important information was shared with the schoolchildren by the forest protection engineer. The specialist reminded about the protection of forests from fires and pollution, which can have catastrophic consequences. "We all bear responsibility for the preservation of forests, of nature," noted Pavel Chernyavsky, summing up the meeting. "Every action we take will affect their future."
