"The Trade Union Always Remembers": A Meeting of Veterans of the Trade Union Movement Held in Vitebsk for the International Day of Older Persons
A meeting of veterans of the trade union movement was held in Vitebsk. It was a celebration filled with pleasant memories, smiles, and words of gratitude for their many years of contribution to the development of the organization.
– We are very happy to gather here today, – addressed the guests Elena Nefedova, Chairperson of the regional trade union association. – I sincerely wish you well-being, respect, and good health. The trade union organization always remembers you. Thank you for your work, dear colleagues.
One of the previous chairpersons of the regional trade union association, Ivan Vozmitel, also attended the meeting:
– Our trade union organization has always been cohesive. We supported each other in everything, and I believe that this has remained and will always remain.
Galina Azarchenkova dedicated thirty years to working in the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers. She continued to provide support to primary organizations even after retiring.
– We always worked together, we were like a team. We went on trips, socialized with our families, and solved problems together. We are very grateful that we were gathered here today and given attention. We haven't seen each other for a long time, this meeting is very valuable. I congratulate all veterans on the holiday. Although today is the International Day of Older Persons, in our hearts, we remain young.
